Main Article Content
Abstract
This study aims to describe and analyze Islamic education management strategies in strengthening innovative learning at elementary schools in Purwokerto. The study employed a field research design with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observations, and documentation involving school principals, teachers, and relevant school personnel. The results indicate that Islamic educational management strategies are implemented through integrated planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating of learning. During the planning phase, schools develop innovative learning programs through staff meetings, teacher consultations, and evaluations of previous programs. During the organizing stage, the school principal clearly assigns roles and responsibilities to teachers so that program implementation proceeds in a more focused manner. During the implementation stage, teachers apply active, interactive, contextual, and integrated learning methods grounded in Islamic values. During the evaluation stage, the school conducts academic supervision, evaluation meetings, and continuous program improvements. This study also found that the principal s role, teacher collaboration, and creativity in utilizing resources are the primary supporting factors. The challenges faced include limited facilities, variations in teacher competencies, and students readiness to learn. Overall, Islamic educational management strategies have proven effective in strengthening innovative learning and supporting improvements in learning quality at the elementary school level.
